I am currently accepting students of all levels on double bass, bass guitar, and voice. As a professional musician, I've performed many musical styles. Together, we'll target your goals and pull from my experience to elevate your performance level and overall musicianship. Regardless of the material you wish to perform, I'll focus on advancing your physical technique to ensure comfort. Bass playing and singing can be very physically demanding, and it is paramount that solid technique be developed to avoid injury. This holds true for young beginners through mature musicians. Lessons may be purchased individually or in blocks of 4 or 10. Lessons will be held in my home studio. If travel to my house is impossible for whatever reason, I do provide visiting lessons on a limited basis. This will require a small fee for my travel expense and time away from my home lessons. I also provide coaching services for groups. All musical styles are based on the same fundamentals. I've helped Bluegrass, Jazz, Rock, Country, Blues, and Contemporary groups by listening and giving thoughtful constructive criticism. Whether you are a husband and wife who have been playing duets for fun, or an up-and-coming rock group, I will help hone your sound and delivery by using proven rehearsal techniques.
